Oklahoma City Thunder defeated by Minnesota Timberwolves, ending NBA Cup season

The “Thunder” lost to the Minnesota “Timberwolves” basketball players with the result 103:106 (29:19, 32:34, 17:23, 25:30) and will not continue the season in the NBA Cup.

Shay Gilges-Alexander led the Thunder with 32 points, while Chet Holmgren added 16 points.

Anthony Edwards had 21 points for the Timberwolves, who was game-ending in the second half after landing on his right hand. Rudy Gobers also stood out with 17 points, 16 rebounds and four blocked shots.

“Thunder” ranks fifth in the Western Conference with 11 wins in 17 games, while “Timberwolves” is the leader with 13 wins in 17 matches.

In the NBA Cup, the Oklahoma City team took the fourth place in the West C group with one win in four games and did not qualify for the playoffs.
