Novak Djokovic Praises Indoor Conditions and Success at Paris Masters

During his press conference after his victory against Andrey Rublev, this Saturday in the semi‐finals of the Masters 1000 in Paris, Novak Djokovic, questioned about his impressive record in this Parisian tournament (ninth final for six titles), explained that despite the fatigue accumulated throughout the season he particularly appreciated the indoor conditions.

“I love playing indoors. Probably because I grew up in Serbia where we have to play indoors five or six months out of the year. These are conditions that are familiar to me and I have always enjoyed playing there. The results I got there demonstrate it. At the end of the season, some are tired and just want to get the season over with, others are fighting for Turin and the Masters and others want to finish on a good note and give the maximum energy in these last weeks. I’m probably in the latter group. I’m trying to finish the season well. Paris has always been one of the Masters where I have had the most success. »
