Norway starts the World Cup with a bang

The reigning world champions and double European champions crushed Greenland this Wednesday (43-11).

Norway, reigning world champion and double European champion, got off to a flying start at the Women’s Handball World Cup, as expected, on Wednesday in front of its home crowd in Stavanger against modest Greenland (43-11).

In the other match of Group C, South Korea was surprised by Austria (30-29), who won on a penalty scored at the last second by Katarina Pandza (8 goals out of 10 attempts).

In Group B, in Frederikshavn in Sweden, Spain beat Kazakhstan (34-17) and Brazil dominated Ukraine (35-20).
