Mirandino Athletes Ready to Represent Venezuela at Central American and Caribbean School Sports Games

32 Mirandino athletes will represent Venezuela in the VI Central American and Caribbean School Sports Games 2023.

This was reported by the Secretary of Sports of the Miranda state, Franklin Cardillo, who indicated that the Venezuelan delegation will be made up of 336 people, of which 230 are athletes and the rest are technical personnel and coaches.

He said that Mirandinos athletes will participate in the disciplines of chess, athletics, basketball, boxing, judo, karate do, weightlifting, wrestling, swimming, taekwondo and volleyball.

He highlighted that for these games Miranda will host the taekwondo competitions, which will take place at the facilities of the José Joaquín Papa Carrillo Gymnasium of the Parque Miranda Sports Complex, in Sebucán, on November 27 and 28.

The 2023 Central American and Caribbean School Sports Games will take place from November 24 to 30 in the Capital District, La Guaira and Miranda, with the participation of more than 2,000 athletes from 12 countries in the region, in 12 sports disciplines.
