“It has a high impact for micro and small businesses in San Juan de Aragón and the Basilica of Guadalupe. There is a high demand because we are the second most populated municipality in our city,” he noted.

“A very important area is rescued because it was almost abandoned and today we have a large Tepeyac Park and also a large aquarium that we are putting into operation today,” he said.

In this place, residents of the capital will immerse themselves in the marine world where they will be able to live the experience of observing sharks, starfish, manta rays and axolotls, in addition to being able to touch and interact with penguins and lemurs.

“And only one percent of the fresh water we use from the Cutzamala Water System, which is managed and dosed for human consumption and the species we house,” he noted.

He highlighted that Michin Aquarium has a conservation program, a wildlife research center and a laboratory for water care.

In addition, visitors will find a wide variety of rescued land animals such as capybaras, flamingos, the yellow anaconda, frogs, snakes, among others.
