Michel Hessmann’s B sample also positive

Tested positive on June 14 during an unannounced test carried out out of competition in Germany, Michel Hessmann now risks suspension while the Badische Zeitung revealed Thursday that the analysis carried out on his B sample had also turned out to be positive.

“This is sufficient proof of a violation of anti-doping rules,” said Eva Bunthoff, from the press service of the German National Anti-Doping Agency (Nada). The latter did not specify which product had been found in Michel Hessmann’s samples, but she still explained that it was a masking product and in August, when the positive result was announced of sample A, the presence of a diuretic was discussed.
