The Mexican women’s archery team, in the recurve modality, of which Alejandra Valencia from Sonora was a part, finished with the silver medal at the Santiago 2023 Pan American Games.

The Tricolor team fell this Saturday for the gold medal against the United States shortlist by a score of 5-1, with which the Aztecs will go up to the podium to receive the silver medal.

The team composed of Valencia Trujillo, Aída Román and Ángela Ruiz, succumbed to the selective American team that had Catalina Gnoriega, Casey Kaufhold and Jennifer Mucino in its ranks, who won the gold medal.
