Four Mexican players and one Guatemalan have been suspended for match-fixing following an ITIA investigation in collaboration with Belgian authorities. Alberto Rojas Maldonado, Christopher Díaz Figueroa (who had already had a previous ban for the same thing), José Antonio Rodríguez Rodríguez, Antonio Ruiz Rosales and Antonio Ruiz Rosales are the five players who have been banned for life.
