Max Verstappen, Dutch Red Bull driver, won the first edition of the Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix, held on Sunday on the street circuit located between the city’s casinos and hotels, not without technical problems and protests. Charles Leclerc of Ferrari came in second, Sergio Perez of Red Bull came in third.
It is Verstappen’s eighteenth victory in this World Championship and the fifty-third of his career. At the beginning of October the Dutch driver had already won the Formula 1 World Championship, for the third time in a row, with six races to spare. On Sunday 26 November the last Grand Prix of the season will take place in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates.
