Martial Arts Success: Dojo Bushi Castrovillari Asd Athletes Shine at Regional and National Levels

Martial arts athletes shine at regional and national levels Dojo Bushi Castrovillari Asd. The Castrovillarese sports club affiliated to the Italian Judo Karate and Martial Arts Federation saw the athlete excel in the debut category B (48 kg) Giulia Filomia graduated regional Judo champion. A victory that projects her as a finalist in the next Italian championship.

The Dojo Bushi Castrovillari Asd also brings home three other titles of vice regional champion Calabria with the athletes Elisabetta Aperti (categoria 52kg), Daniel Celaj (60 kg category) and Cristian Scarpino (46 kg category). The start of the academic year was intense and full of satisfactions for the sports club directed by master Massimo Viola. On 23 September Rebecca Dini, member of the Calabria regional Judo team, won the bronze medal together with the Calabrian team, in the national team competition “Memorial Augusto Ceccherini”.

Even in Karate there has been no shortage of successes thanks to the athlete Davide Fata who, having achieved an excellent placing at the Calabria Regional Championship, cadet class, in the kata specialty, obtained the ticket as finalist at the Italian Karate Fijlkam Championship.

Massimo Viola congratulated all the athletes and is now preparing with his team for the Italian JUDO Championship which will be held in Riccione next Saturday 11th November. Then the next commitment for the Dojo will be the Italian Ju Jitsu Championship for teams in Taranto on 16 December 2023 in which the Castrovillarese athletes will participate.
