Vink: ‘I already get a smile on my face when I talk about him, so good!’

Marciano Vink is deeply impressed by Dirk Proper, the analyst said prior to the European Championship qualifying match between the Dutch Juniors and Jong Gibraltar. The NEC Nijmegen midfielder gives Vink ‘a smile on the face’ with his play and the analyst indicated that he was looking forward to his performance under national coach Michael Reiziger.

Reiziger also chose to put Devyne Rensch and Kenneth Taylor on the bench. On Thursday evening, the Netherlands will take on Gibraltar, which currently occupies the last place in Group C, in its fifth match of the European Championship qualifying series. The Dutch Juniors are in the lead with twelve points from four matches.
The Dutch Juniors’ goal is defended by Calvin Raatsie, who has a four-man defense in front of him. Neraysho Kasanwirjo starts as right back, while Ian Maatsen fills the left back position. The center is formed by Ryan Flamingo and Finn van Breemen.
The most notable absentee on the middle line is Taylor. The three-man midfield is formed by Dirk Proper, Ruben van Bommel and Calvin Twigt. In the front, deepest striker Noah Ohio is served from the flanks by Million Manhoef (right) and Myron van Brederode.
