Marc Marquez has undergone MotoGP testing for next season with his new team, Gresini Racing. But how come, Marquez still includes Honda’s name on his social media?
After the 2023 Valencia MotoGP has finished, at the same circuit, the MotoGP test for the 2024 season will continue. Several riders rode their new iron horses after moving teams.
One of them is Marc Marquez. Marquez will undertake MotoGP 2024 with Gresini Racing after parting ways with the Honda team.
Marc Marquez immediately showed off. Marquez is the fourth fastest rider in the MotoGP test ahead of the 2024 season!
Marquez had a good start by being in third place at the start of the session. The Spanish rider then posted the fastest time of around 1 minute 29 seconds on the 46th lap of the 49 laps completed.
Marquez then improved his time before Vinales, who consistently went fast, took over at the top of the list of riders. Marquez finally became fourth fastest.
If you look at Marc Marquez’s personal social media, Baby Alien still has the name Repsol Honda Team in the bio column. His profile photo still wears a Honda ‘uniform’.

More than that, Marquez and his new team Gresini Racing are not yet allowed to comment on anything, including regarding the results of the MotoGP test they have just undertaken. Gresini also respects Honda.
“Regarding Marc Marquez, I can’t speak yet,” said Gresini manager, Michele Masini.
