Following Paris Saint-Germain’s defeat against AC Milan in the Champions League (1-2), PSG coach Luis Enrique defended his young midfielder trio composed of Manuel Ugarte, Warren Zaire-Emery and Vitinha.
“I think it was the same circles at the Parc des Princes as at San Siro and we won 3-0. No one asked if they lacked experience. They are the same players, the same backgrounds. Sometimes there are better performances than others, but I am very happy with their performances and the level of my players”Enrique said during the press conference.
The Spanish coach insists that the level of performance can vary from one match to another and that he is satisfied with the performance of his young midfielders, stressing that they have already had solid performances in the past.
