The badminton player from Quindá Lucía Barrios Fernández is part of the 7 athletes (5 from Valle and 1 from Santander), who were summoned by the Colombian Federation of this sports discipline to be part of a series of technical training camps in the city of Bogotá.
The main purpose of this activity is to work with athletes in the junior category (under-11, under-13 and under-15), who were well placed in the 2023 national ranking.

In addition to sports training with two national coaches, the participants also acquire motivational coaching and nutritional talks, to build a solid foundation with these children who are between 9 and 14 years old.
The first camp began on November 6 and will last until the 11th; and the next one is projected from November 24 to 29.
