LPGA Pedersen in control, Delacour tumbles

If the Dane preserved the lead of the tournament at the end of the third round (-18), Perrine Delacour experienced a black Saturday (+2 with three triple bogeys) and fell significantly (32nd, -6) in Florida.

Perrine Delacour did Perrine Delacour. As very often, the Frenchwoman has just followed up a royal round (65) with another much more delicate one (72) on the Annika Driven by Gainbridge. In question, three triple bogeys (2, 5, 12) which the four birdies of the day were not enough to attenuate. Delacour, however, had the merit of hanging on, of not exploding in flight and his end of the course (birdies 17, 18) demonstrates, despite everything, immense progress on the mental level. The top 20 remains largely within its reach, or even better, if Picardy is able to regain its mastery from Friday while its place for the LPGA Tour final, which will take place next week, already seems assured.

Emily Pedersen has not encountered this concern for irregularity since the start of the tournament. 63, 65, 64, the Danish clock is ticking wonderfully. This Saturday, the leader signed her first card of the week without any deletions (six birdies). Enough to count three shots ahead of Lilia Vu, author of a magical 62 this Saturday and on the verge of taking big points from Céline Boutier in the race for world leadership, currently held by Ruoning Yin (9th with – 11, on this tournament).
