The Trois-Rivières Aigles have confirmed the signing of outfielder Louis-Philippe Pelletier for the 2024 Frontier Baseball League season. The latter, now aged 27, joined the Eagles during the 2022 season after his season with Équipe Québec.
After two seasons with the Trois-Rivières team, the new resident of Trois-Rivières posted impressive numbers with a batting average of .330, in addition to having hit 23 long balls. He also produced 86 points and had 35 stolen bases in 143 games.
“I am very happy to be back for a fourth season with the Eagles,” he said. I am no longer a rookie in the league and I intend to use my experience to help the team be at the top of the rankings in 2024.”
Remember that he was drafted in Major League Baseball twice, in 2014 by the San Diego Padres, and in 2016 by the Houston Astros.
