FC Bayern Munich, News: Lothar Matthäus suspects that Thomas Müller is “burning inside”
Record national player Lothar Matthäus assumes that Thomas Müller is extremely dissatisfied with his bench position at FC Bayern Munich. Most recently, the 34-year-old wasn’t even substituted on in the away win in Cologne. “Thomas doesn’t get his playing time. I think that’s what bothers him the most, although he doesn’t show it on the outside,” said Matthäus on Sky 90.

Bayern Munich sports director Christoph Freund thinks highly of national player Leon Goretzka. “Leon is an absolute top player, which he has consistently demonstrated at the highest level over many years,” the Austrian told kicker.

The sports director appreciates Goretzka’s attitude and qualities, which he describes as follows: “He is a box-to-box player, very strong in running, technically adept, who creates danger in the opponent’s penalty area with his speed and also repeatedly finishes on goal himself seeks.” It can also be used “universally”.
