Loïc Gosset: Rising Badminton Star Sets Sights on Portugal Tournament

“My ambition was to win two gold medalssays Loïc. I’m a little disappointed with my singles final but satisfied with my level during the weekend. In total, I played eleven matches. In singles, I won five and lost one, while in mixed doubles, I played three matches with three victories. I also competed in boys’ doubles where I won 1 match and lost another.”

The results are therefore more than positive for those who started badminton in September 2020. “I train several times a week to be the best. Only work can make me progress” he said.

Heading for Portugal

The Verlainois will not have time to be idle since this Thursday, he will fly to Portugal for a new international tournament. “I will play in U17, a category higher than mine. I will compete in singles and mixed doubles hoping to achieve good performances. I will have no pressure in any case” slides Loïc Gosset who continues to progress over the months.
