The Latvian national football team lacked the final kick in the test match with Poland on Tuesday to successfully end the attacks, the head coach of the national team Dainis Kazakevičs said after the game.

It has already been reported that the Latvian men’s football team lost to the Polish national team with the result 0:2 (0:1) in a test match in Warsaw on Tuesday. As Kazakevics said at the press conference, the team was preparing for a difficult match, and considering the last results, it was clear that the Poles would be motivated to play aggressively.

“I would like to play more successfully and organized in the defense in the moments when the opponent caused us problems after quick transitions and vertical passes. We lacked the final shot because there were enough interesting transitions, counter-attacks. Likewise, we were able to squeeze out more in standard situations,” said Kazakevičs.

The Polish national team is in 31st place in the FIFA ranking, while the Latvian national team is in 132nd position.
