LA Lakers narrowly beat the Cleveland Cavaliers in a 121-115 victory

Narrow away win for the LA Lakers at the Cleveland Cavaliers!

The team around star player LeBron James was able to bring the tenth-placed team in the Eastern Conference to their knees in the end with 121:115 and is therefore still in the middle of the race for direct play-off qualification.

After the Cavs narrowly won the first quarter with a score of 40:35, the Lakers did the same and were able to get within 70:71 at halftime.

A close game is decided in the final phase

After a third quarter with the same number of points (23:23), the decision in favor of James and Co. was only made in the final minutes. In the end, the Lakers managed to get a narrow win over the Cavaliers and are now in seventh place in the Western Conference.

Anthony Davis became the game’s top scorer with 32 points (13 rebounds, 3 assists), followed by LeBron James in second place with 22 points (6 rebounds, 6 assists).

Donovan Mitchell became the Cavaliers’ highest-scoring player with 22 points (5 rebounds, 6 assists).

In the parallel games, Utah Jazz narrowly wins against the Pelicans with 105:100, the Clippers defeat the Mavericks with 107:88, and the Hawks clearly defeat the Wizards away from home with 136:108. The Miami Heat, on the other hand, had to admit defeat to the Brooklyn Nets with 112:97.
