Korean Volleyball League standings after Megawati et al lost to Hi Pass

Jung Kwan Jang Red Sparks, the club he defends Megawati Hangestri Pertiwi is temporarily ranked fourth in the 2023 Women’s Korean Volleyball League.

In the fifth week of the Women’s Korean League match against Gimcheon Korea Expressway Hi Pass at Chungmu Gymnasium Stadium, Daejeon, Thursday (2/11), Red Spark lost with a score of 0-3 (25-21, 25-22, 25-20).

In this match Megawati contributed 18 points. Several of Megawati’s blocks and spikes did not produce any points. The number of points recorded by Megatron, his nickname, was only behind Gia, who contributed 19 points.

Because of this defeat, Red Spark is currently ranked fourth with eight points from five matches. Red Sparks’ points are the same as GS Caltex, which has only played four matches.

In the previous four matches, Red Spark recorded three wins and suffered one defeat. Two wins by a score of 3-0 and the other 3-2. The Red Sparks’ first defeat was 0-3.

Next, Red Sparks will play Pepper Savings Bank on Sunday (5/11). This will be a means for Megawati to lead the Red Sparks to improve their position on the standings.

Currently Pepper Savings is at the bottom of the standings with three points. Of the five matches Pepper Saving only won once and the other four ended in defeat.
