Junta de Castilla y León Organizes ‘Family Sports’ Initiative for Saturday in Salamanca with Free Admission

The Junta de Castilla y León has organized the ‘Family Sports’ initiative for this Saturday, November 11, a proposal that will take place from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with free admission at the María Auxiliadora School (Salesianos) in Salamanca.

According to the press release from the Territorial Delegation in Salamanca, collected by Europa Press, the proposal will have inclusive games, inflatables, a playroom, e-Sports and regional dances “for both the little ones and their families.”

With a total budget that amounts to 12,000 euros, financed through the Next Generation Funds of the European Union, the Board has programmed this initiative within facilities that will have six different areas for the families who attend.

Specifically, there will be a sports area, where attendees can choose between basketball, soccer, badminton, table tennis and archery; In the regional games area, the options will be frog, petanque, noose, bald or bowling.

Likewise, there will be an inclusive games area with short basketball games adapted for wheelchairs and two inflatables supervised by two monitors; in addition to an ‘e-Sport’ area, another with the promotion of healthy nutritional advice, and a relaxation area with short sessions of yoga and relaxation exercises.
