Joseba Aldabe (Igantzi, 1996) makes the leap to professionalism with Aspe. The Navarrese defender, who clearly dominates the backfield in the amateur field, will make his professional debut at the age of 27 on December 8 at Atano III. The Eibar promoter, who during the summer had some problems completing festivals due to injuries and absences of some of her defenders, trusts Aldabe for complementary matches.

The one from Igantzi has plenty of experience to make the leap. «In amateurs I have played many tournaments, but what awaits me starting December 8 is different. “It is an exciting challenge,” he declared after signing his new contract. “For me, baseball has been my life and I have dedicated many moments of my life to it,” he added, so now he has a golden opportunity by signing for two years with Aspe.

He is looking forward to training with the best and putting himself in the hands of the Eibar promoter’s technicians. “I want to put myself in the hands of Jokin Etxaniz to improve as much as possible and offer a good level in professional matches.” Aldabe will debut with Zabala as a forward and will face Mata-Erostarbe. World champion this summer in Biarritz, he is counting the days until his debut.
