Jaime Busto started the first round of the day with a penalty of 8 points, after a first zone without making any errors, with a single error in zones 2, 4 and 5, and a fiasco in the difficult zone 3, which placed him in the fourth place among the nine pilots participating in this test.
In the second round, Busto once again nailed the performance of the first, achieving the same points in each of the disputed areas, to accumulate 8 penalty points again, a result that allowed him to occupy third position in the same, tied at points with the Englishman Toby Martín (Montesa) and the Galician Gabriel Marcelli (Montesa).
After the two rounds were calculated, Jaime Busto accumulated 16 penalty points, a result that placed him in fourth position overall and prevented him from going to the grand final by only five points, since only the first three overall were competing. until this moment, which were the Catalan Toni Bou, Toby Martin and Gabriel Marcelli, Bou finally winning the test, thus winning the title, followed by Marcelli and Martin.
Once the test was over, Jaime Busto admitted that “it has been a hard night for me. Overall my riding was good, but in the third section I had some problems, that was the section that kept me out of the final. Small mistakes can have a big impact on the indoor test, and that was true tonight. Of course, I wanted to be on the podium, but tonight fourth place was my place.
