tvOnenews.com – An imbalance in the number of spectators occurred during the group stage of the U-17 World Cup.

LOC Head of Marketing and Commercial for the 2023 U-17 World Cup, Marsal Masita, also claimed that there were already 400 thousand spectators present directly at the stadium.

Gelora Bung Tomo Stadium, Surabaya as the host team’s venue, the Indonesian U-17 national team became the best-selling venue during the preliminary round.

“Surabaya is the city that has the largest audience of the four cities, but just for information, as of today, 400 thousand people have watched the U-17 World Cup from the four cities,” said Marsal.

Marsal admitted that LOC’s efforts to increase the number of ticket sales for the U-17 World Cup would continue to be encouraged.

Moreover, the loss of the Indonesian U-17 national team from the group stage will certainly affect ticket sales.
