They used to take advantage of that on the floor. “We swapped jerseys once in the U12 – no one noticed,” reveals Nicholas.
As befits twins, they have done everything together so far. They played for the same youth clubs, moved to Braunschweig together in 2021 and live in a shared apartment there.

They don’t always work together as well as they do on the pitch. “It’s important to us that everything is always clean. That’s why there are sometimes conflicts about who does what and when. But overall everything is really good,” says Brandon.
