In the round of 16 of the DFB Cup, HSV will face second division rivals Hertha BSC on December 6th (time still to be determined). The joy about the draw is limited in the Volkspark. The HSV officials had actually wanted a home game. In the capital, however, people are very happy with the lot. “We are very happy about the home game, it will be a celebration,” explained Hertha coach Pal Dardai. In the league this season, the Berliners lost 3-0 at HSV on matchday 3 (August 19th) and had pretty much no chance. Dardai spoke afterwards of a class difference. Before we meet again he says now. “I’m excited to see where we stand compared to the last meeting with HSV. I have great respect for this opponent.”
