The winner of the first place in the “Optibet” Future League gets the right to play in the “Optibet” super league next season, and the second place winner – to play a play-off with the ninth best team in the super league. “Dinamo Riga” and “Rēzekne”, which will take 13th and 14th place in the ONL championship, will lose the right to play in the league in 2024 as well and will give place to the best representatives of the second league. On the other hand, the team that will take 12th place in the 2023 championship will meet in two overtimes with the second league team, which will finish the 2023 championship in third place.
