Ronny Turiaf has one of the best records in French basketball. A heart defect was detected in 2005 during his medical examination. This did not prevent him from becoming NBA champion in 2012 alongside Lebron James and Dwayne Wade. He played with the best players, from Kobe Bryant to Tony Parker, including his teammates who won the title in 2012. As for the French selection, Ronny Turiaf has 101 caps with the France team.
Does sport still unite?
This is one of the questions that the former French international will try to answer with a view to the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. He will of course return to his career, as well as his role as ambassador for the Jr NBA. It will also be about sport as a tool, used in the service of peace, social inclusion and equality.
