Sky expert and ex-national player Dietmar Hamann (50) is a guest in the “Situation of the League” on BILD Live.
His statements are always offensive, especially at FC Bayern. Shouldn’t his former club – Hamann played 106 Bundesliga games for the record champions – involve him as a representative in order to ensure more peace in the club?
Hamann: “There hasn’t been an attempt yet. Even if I did, I would have little interest in it. I can’t take money from FC Bayern and then judge them.”

So Hamann doesn’t see everything at FC Bayern critically. The former world-class midfielder is particularly fond of Harry Kane (30). Hamann: “I didn’t think it would have such an impact. Yesterday he scored two goals out of two missed chances. Both goals were great. It’s good that you have such a striker. It’s a sensation for the league to have the England captain.”
Hamann would also see the commitment of Max Eberl (50) as sports director as positive. Hamann: “It would definitely help. Max communicated that Bayern was his dream. I would be very surprised if it doesn’t happen that way. Max will appear at FC Bayern at some point. It’s good for the club if you have sporting skills. If you have a competent, strong man at your side with whom you (Thomas Tuchel, editor’s note) can exchange ideas and who has your back, that helps.”
Will Bayern bring Wirtz in the summer?
At the end there was a spectacular transfer statement from Hamann. He assumes that Leverkusen gem Florian Wirtz (20) will play for the record champions next summer. Hamann: “The Wirtz family has been in contact with Bayern for two or three years. His injury is ‘to blame’ for the fact that he is still in Leverkusen. I assume that he will play for Bayern in the summer. Is it possible to have both on the team? And if you can sell Musiala for a lot of money and maybe get Wirtz for half that, then I don’t think that would be the worst deal. .”
