Former Inter Milan Player Radja Nainggolan Rejects Request to Play for Indonesian National Team

tvOnenews.com – Former Inter Milan player, Radja Nainggolan, refused a request to defend the Indonesian national team.

This Belgian player with Indonesian blood admitted that he could have chosen to play for the Indonesian national team if he had been approached from a young age.

The midfielder, who spent most of his career in Italy, has played for the Belgian national team in various age groups, and has made 30 appearances with the Belgian senior national team.

“In the past, the football organization in Indonesia, I talked about 18 years ago, when I first played for Belgium, Indonesia was not yet at the point it is today,” said Radja.

“If you go back to that time with the organization as it is today, maybe that can change, and now they are on a positive path,” he added.

As a player from Belgium, Radja stated that he was quite familiar with the two naturalized players, Sandy Walsh and Jordi Amat.
