According to the British newspaper, Wirtz could act as a replacement for Egyptian international and striker Mohamed Salah. The 31-year-old right winger made headlines in the last transfer window: He received a lucrative 175 million offer from Saudi football champions Al-Ittihad, which Liverpool rejected. However, a departure in the summer does not seem to be generally out of the question. Wirtz could follow in his footsteps.
