The 20-year-old suffered a muscle injury in the back of his thigh during FC Bayern’s 2-1 defeat in the Champions League preliminary round second leg against Galatasaray Istanbul, said Thomas Tuchel on the streaming service DAZN late on Wednesday evening. “In the worst case scenario, it’s a torn fiber,” added the coach of the German record champions. A precise diagnosis is expected later on Thursday.
Saturday (3:30 p.m., Sky) Bayern will host newly promoted team 1. FC Heidenheim in the Bundesliga. “There is no chance for Heidenheim,” said Tuchel regarding Musiala. After a quick movement in the penalty area shortly before half-time, the offensive star indicated that he had to be substituted. World champion Thomas Müller came into the game to replace him in the 40th minute of the game. Musiala grabbed his left leg.

When the national team is nominated this Friday, national coach Julian Nagelsmann will probably have to do without his offensive star.
