Holland, Romania and Switzerland secured their places at Euro 2024 by getting the results they needed in the qualifying matches played today.
The Orange national team beat Ireland 1-0 in Amsterdam with a goal from Wout Weghorst and secured second place in Group A behind France. In Group I, Romania managed to come from behind to beat Israel 2-1, in a match played on a neutral pitch in Hungary and thanks to this result it allowed Switzerland to secure at least second place despite the 1-1 draw against Kosovo in Basel.
The last match, in Bucharest, will decide which of the two national teams will finish in first place.
