SANTO DOMINGO.- The Leones del Esgido defeated the Tigres del Licey 11-2 this Thursday, which was possible thanks to 12 hits, of which two came from the bat of Erik González, the offensive hero of the night.
For the shortstop of choice, the key to the long-haired offensive explosion lies in a single factor: patience.
“This team is a blunderbuss, if you look at the bench we have to make another new team. Everyone’s focus was on producing. We try to make patience our priority, letting the pitchers throw,” he said when interviewed after the game.
