As part of the implementation of the “Sport Au Féminin (SAF)” program, the Beninese Badminton Federation with the support of the French Embassy in Benin and the Ministry of Sports organizes the activities of the development project called “ Badminton as the sport of choice for women in 229”.
This project will proceed according to the well-established program. The first activity is “Training of Official Women Badminton Techniques”. It will be November 11 and 12, 2023 at the Happy Universe and Multi-Sport Club in Cotonou from 8 a.m. The second entitled “Equipment allocation” will take place on Saturday November 18, 2023 at INEPS in Porto-Novo at 10 a.m. Will then be organized for the count of the third activity, the Initiation and Improvement Camp. It will be in Porto Novo, on November 18 and 19, 2023 at the INEPS Gymnasium from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. then in Lokossa, on November 18 and 19, 2023 at the Aivedji Youth Center from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., in Parakou, on 02 and December 3, 2023 at the Sports Entertainment Center (CAS) from 8 a.m. – 6 p.m. The fourth activity is the “BWF Level 1 Women’s Coach Training”, from November 26 to December 3, 2023 at the Agla Youth Center. “We invite all stakeholders, particularly women and girls, to furnish themselves massively in order to support this project which will highlight women in badminton,” announced FéBéba.
