Sad news that comes to us from Albania. Raphael Dwamena, former Zaragoza and Levante player, has died after fainting during the match between his team, Egnatia Rrogozhinë, and Partizani in the Albanian League. Dwamena, a native of Ghana, was only 28 years old. The emergency services tried to revive the footballer, who ended up dying in hospital. The one from Nkawkaw was quite a globetrotter in the world of football. In twelve years of his career he went through seven countries: Ghana, Nigeria, Austria, Switzerland, Denmark, Albania and Spain, where he defended the colors of Levante and Zaragoza. The Granotas paid Zurich six million euros for his services in the summer of 2018. A year later he left on loan to the Aragonese capital.

He wore the Ghana national shirt eight times and scored two goals, both in his debut against Ethiopia, in a qualifying match for the African Cup.
