DP World Tour Rozner: “Very happy to be in this position after two days”

After a second round in -5, Racingman Antoine Rozner climbed in a pack of five players to second place in the DP World Tour Championship (-9 in total) behind Nicolai Hojgaard (-11). Matthieu Pavon (-8) and Julien Guerrier (-7) remain in contact.

“How did you experience this second day under par?
There were some very good ones, some very ugly shots at times too. My iron game is really solid, I planted a lot of flags and put into play pretty well overall so I have to manage to stay focused on what I want to put in place, whether technically or mentally and I think it will continue to go well. I feel pretty good on this course so I just have to enjoy it.

Which sector of the game seemed to you to perform the best?
If I have to remember one thing it’s that my putting was really excellent all day. I made some really good putts, it’s so important on this course because it’s hard to get close to the flags. You have to be good on par 5s, which I did pretty well overall except for 14 (bogey). A great game, I felt good and I’m really happy to be in this position after two days.
