Double Date with Badminton: National Parabadminton Circuit and Castilla La Mancha Club League Excite Fans

Last Saturday you could enjoy the best Spanish badminton in Moral de Calatrava twice with the National Parabadminton Circuit and the Castilla La Mancha Club League.

The winners’ table was as follows:

The SL3 men’s singles draw was with Juan Antonio Ramirez as first, Alex Santamaría was second and Hugo Barrios (Goose Wings Badminton) was third.

The men’s individual draw SL4 – SU4 was with Pablo Serrano as first, José Luis Martín (Albatros) as second and José Manuel de las Heras (Drop Toledo) and Manuel García as third.

In the men’s doubles draw SU5 – SL3 – SL3, Manuel García / Pablo Serrano was first, José Luis Martín / José Manuel de las Heras (Albatros / Drop Toledo) was second, Juan Antonio Ramírez / Alex Santamaría was third.

In the inclusive table, Francisco Javier González / Jorge Jerez (Rinconada / Drop Toledo) was first and Pablo Serrano / Daniela Hernan (Astures / Moral de Calatrava) was second.

UNDER 13, 15 AND ABSOLUTE CLUB LEAGUE OF CASTILLA LA MANCHA. On the other hand, the 2023 Club League was being played, a team competition between the clubs of Castilla-La Mancha. Being a very fun day for players of all ages from under 13 to seniors.

In the Under 13 category, the Drop Toledo club won, with the Moral de Calatrava club finishing second and Albatros Cuenca third.

Moral’s team was made up of Héctor Flores López, Lucas Carrasco Nieto, Héctor Sancho Zokirov, Adrián Delgado Lerma, Alejandra Aranda Cañadas, Minerva Sánchez García, Lucía Molina Sánchez and Edurne Talavera Pérez.

In the Under 15 category, the Albatros Cuenca club won, with the Drop Toledo club finishing second and Goose Wings 2 (Guadalajara) third.

In the Absolute category the Drop Toledo club won, with Goose Wings 1 (Guadalajara) coming second and Moral de Calatrava third.

Moral’s team was made up of: Ismael Bacete López, Antonio Bacete Delgado, Ángel Flores Sancho, Ángel Flores Sánchez, Beatriz Flores Sancho, Diana Dulya, Sandra Naranjo López and Candi López Flores.

At the same time, and in the province of Alicante, Manuel Carrasco Nieto and Alejandro González participated in a national scoring test in the city of El Campello. At the end of the day, the Moraleños managed to get on the podium:

Alejandro Gonzalez, sub 13, singles champion, and second in men’s doubles along with Manuel Carrasco.

Without a doubt, one more point of motivation to continue working and face the club’s next challenges, the Spanish Under 11 Championships (Cartagena) and Under 13 Championships (Oviedo).

The event was more than a sports competition. People of all types participated, with and without disabilities, where the coexistence and relationship between all participants created a pleasant day for everyone.
