Schwartzman, formerly number 8 and currently only number 112 in the world, has brought his former coach back into the team.

He announced this in his Insta story.

The Argentine also hopes to build on more successful times again. He worked with Olguín until 2021, and the two celebrated great success by reaching the semi-finals of the French Open 2020 and the top 10 in the world.

Recently, however, “El Peque” slipped due to a leg injury and fell out of the top 100. At the Shanghai Masters he won three matches in a row for the first time since the French Open 2022, including one against Taylor Fritz. He then celebrated his 250th match win in Tokyo.

He was most recently coached by Juan Ignacio Chela and Alejandro Fabbri.
