Desmond Bane, the Memphis Grizzlies’ leading outside scorer in the absence of Ja Morant, was full of praise for Santi Aldama after the clash against the Boston Celtics. Despite the tight defeat (102-100), the Spaniard was one of the big news of the night for Taylor Jenkins’ team and this was what one of his references wanted to show.
These were Bane’s words:
“Spectacular. Keep improving. I always tell him how happy I am for him and the things he is doing now on the court. It is dynamic. I mean, he can do a lot of different things. Open the court from the three-point line, attack the basket, generate play. There are a lot of things he can do on the court.
And you see, I think tonight he grabbed twelve rebounds, four offensive. I mean, that’s winning basketball. And him being in the starting five gives us more size and really helps us on the defensive part of the field.”
