Ullrich, who is at home on the left side of the defense with an urge to move forward, celebrated his Bundesliga debut in the 0-2 defeat in the neighborhood duel with Bayer 04 Leverkusen at the end of August when he came on as a substitute in the 88th minute. He was also allowed to play in the 1:2 against FC Bayern from the 73rd minute and was in the squad against Heidenheim (2:1).

Ullrich, who has played for all of the DFB’s junior national teams from the U17 to the U20, played eight times for the Fohlen’s U23s this season in the Regionalliga West.
