Confederation of African Football Announces Dates and Times for African Super League Finals, with Change to Return Leg

The Confederation of African Football has announced the dates and times of the African Super League finals, including a change to the return leg.

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) announced this Friday, November 3, the dates and times of the African Super League finals between Wydad Casablanca and the South Africans Mamelodi Sundowns.

The first leg will be held on Sunday, November 5 at 7:00 p.m. at the Mohammed V Complex in Casablanca, while the return leg is scheduled for Sunday, November 12 at 2:00 p.m. (Moroccan time) at the Loftus Versfeld Stadium in Pretoria.

The Confederation of African Football has therefore decided to postpone the return final, initially scheduled for the day before (Saturday November 11).

CAF also recalls Prize Money. The winner of the competition will win the sum of 4 million dollars, compared to 3 million for the vice-champion.

Wydad qualified for the final of this inaugural edition by defeating the Nigerians of Enyimba in the quarter-finals (0-1, 3-0) then the Tunisians of Esperance of Tunis in the semi-finals (1-0, 1-0 tab 5-4).
