A day of strong sharing at the “Palazama” in Ragusa on Saturday 25 November. In a building packed in every sector with all the young athletes of the various sports disciplines, even the Figc of Ragusa he firmly represented his total commitment to combating violence against women. Through the members of the provincial delegation and the managers of the football clubs, many people participated in the day, with a large presence of young footballers ready to fill the stands of the “Palazama”.
“Unfortunately – explained the delegate member Sara Traina – it was not possible to carry out the pre-established program at the “Biazzo” camp due to adverse weather conditions, consequently we moved inside the “Palazama” to reiterate, as a Federation, our presence as well as maximum closeness in the incessant fight against the elimination of violence against women. Football and sport as a whole represent an important vehicle for raising awareness and human growth, and every day we are called to commit ourselves as women and men of sport to educate our children and students in the highest values of mutual respect. It was nice to be present together with our little ones on such an important day.”
Participating on behalf of the Province of Ragusa are the companies Vittoria Football club, Futsal Ragusa, Scicli Bruffalori, Orsa Ragusa, Game Sport Ragusa, Cr Scicli, Ragusa Boys, Sportispica Marcomonaco. For the Ibleo FIGC Committee, present were the deputy secretary Armando La Cognata, the members Claudia Ricupero, women’s football delegate, Raffaele Vaccaro, Vincenzo Vitale, Sara Traina, Michele Poidomani, Bartolo Ficili, Carlo Giaquinta and Bartolomeo Manenti.
