Closing Ceremony of the Women in Sports Commission Activities

In the auditorium of the Argentine Olympic Committee (COA), with the presence of the president of the institution, Mario Moccia; the 1st vice president. of the COA and president of the Women in Sports commission, Alicia Masoni de Morea; the protector, Laura Martinel; the recording secretary, Mabel Roca; and the members of the CMD the activities of the Commission were closed.

The last activity of the year was a presentation by Cintia Stuller on “Enhancing performance in sports with emotional intelligence” in which athletes and medalists at the Santiago 2023 Pan American Games participated.

Stuller has a degree, a kinesiologist with a specialty in neurodevelopment and bioneuroemotion and a diploma in emotional intelligence. Her report explained how the management of emotions influences achieving a result and the importance of knowing the benefit that the development of emotional competencies brings to performance.

It included the participation of the medalists present: María Lis García Calderón (gold in Basque Pelota); Brisa Candela Gómez (silver in Judo); Candela Gentinetta, Delfina Saravia and Valeria Fernández (bronze in Basketball); Martina Della Chiessa (bronze in Figure Skating) and the analysis was complemented by the videos sent by Eugenia de Arma (gold in Water Skiing) and María Catalina Turienzo, (silver in Sailing).

Likewise, the event was attended by Florencia Molinero, Secretary of Sports of the province of Santa Fe, the president of the Argentine Basketball Confederation, Sergio Gatti, the head of the Argentine Ball Confederation, Pablo Lambardi, along with authorities and members of the national federations.
