The support association for children in Bechtsrieth/Trebsau/Irchenrieth offered two campaigns that met with great interest. Once there was a trial shooting session with the Hubertus riflemen in Schirmitz. 15 children aged 9 and over were there. There was great enthusiasm when they were allowed to fire a few test shots with the air rifle. The second activity was also sporty, a judo trial lesson with judo instructor Arthur Hofmann. 22 children between the ages of 5 and 8 were there in the rooms of the children’s home in Bechtsrieth. Hofmann introduced the children to judo through games and gymnastics according to their age. The little ones were explained the first basics and handles and were allowed to use them under supervision. Here too, the children’s enthusiasm was great.
