London

Christopher Nkunku is reportedly ready to play after undergoing knee surgery. Chelsea did not want to rush into playing the striker.

Chelsea bought Christopher Nkunku from RB Leipzig last summer. Nkunku was redeemed for 60 million Euros or the equivalent of IDR 1 trillion.

Too bad for Christopher Nkunku. He suffered a knee injury in the last pre-season session, continued during preparations for the 2022 World Cup, and had to go on the operating table.

This forced the 26 year old player to be sidelined for a long time. Nkunku hasn’t recorded a minute of play yet!

Reporting from Mirror, Christopher Nkunku is reported to have recovered. The player with the French passport has also been training with the first team.

According to information from trusted sources, Chelsea doesn’t want to rush into playing Nkunku. Chelsea will continue to monitor his condition to be 100 percent fit!

It is believed that Nkunku will only enter the main squad in December. At that time, the Blues’ match schedule was very busy and there had to be a refresh in the attack line.
