Obviously intriguing for French fans, the match between the Wizards and the Pistons at the start of the week did not, however, pose any major sporting challenges. An observation that Charles Barkley made fun of virally afterwards.
In a week which contained some great posters, ordinary fans didn’t really have much to dwell on this meeting. The match between Wizards and Pistons, played last Monday in Detroit, pitted two of the worst teams in the league against each other. Despite everything, this represented a great opportunity for Bilal Coulibaly and Killian Hayes to show themselves, which they did via a few highlights:

Notable actions in an evening that was not very exciting for the two French players. Because while Coulibaly simply accumulated 5 points, 4 rebounds, 2 interceptions and 1 block, Hayes was content with 4 rebounds, 3 assists and 3 blocks. This rather dull duel ultimately ended in a victory for Washington (126-107) which Charles Barkley commented scathingly:

With this punchline, Barkley sought above all to ridicule the level displayed by the two franchises since the start of the season, which according to him deserves their fans to desert their theaters. However, 14,346 spectators made the trip to the Little Caesars Arena, which remains much less than the approximately 20,000 that the venue can accommodate for basketball matches.
In all likelihood, Charles Barkley didn’t watch a single second of the recent game between Wizards and Pistons. His brief analysis in any case suggests that he should not regularly follow the prowess of Bilal Coulibaly and Killian Hayes.
