Carlos Alcaraz Dominates the ATP Season: Secures Top Spot in Masters 1000 and ATP Finals Ranking

Carlos Alcaraz’s great seasonwith six titles, two of them in the TMS category such as Indian Wells and Mutua Madrid Open, has helped him finish as the tennis player with the highest score in Masters 1000 and ATP Finals tournaments.

The Murcian has finished his participation in the Turin teachers’ meeting cwith a total of 3,685 points, 85 more than Jannik Sinner, second and who would have been the leader in case of the title.

Daniil Medvedev has placed third in that particular ranking, with 3,585 points, 15 more than Novak Djokovic, brand new champion of the Masters Cup for the seventh time.

The ATP will grant a succulent bonus to the 30 players with the most points, proportionally based on how they appear on that list and if they have not skipped any of the eight mandatory Masters 1000 or Open 500.

Alcaraz has fulfilled everything so he will have the largest prize that will be known at the end of the yearonce the men’s circuit has closed the accounts of the income from the ATP Finals in Turin.

Carlitos already received a bonus last season for finishing as number one, but an amount was deducted for not having attended the Rome tournament.
