The state government, through the Tlaxcala Sports Institute (IDET), invites the population to participate in the “Try Out Baseball 5 IDET 2023” Tournament that will be held as part of the Fair’s billboard, next December 9. November on the charro canvas of the fairgrounds, starting at 10 a.m.
Registrations may be in the men’s and women’s branches; In the categories of 15 to 16 years and 17 to 19 years, in addition, the defensive team must have a minimum of two athletes per gender on the field at all times and no restrictions will be applied to the batting order.
The teams will register their registration through the Physical Culture and Sports organizations of the municipal councils, as well as schools and clubs that meet the requirements indicated by the call and its regulations in a timely manner.
Likewise, the requirements for the registration of athletes are the delivery of a registration card, school credential or some identification, the Unique Population Registration Code (CURP) and the letter of exoneration; For the registration of coaches, the same documents will be requested, in addition to presenting a format issued by the IDET. The category and branch of participation must appear on the corresponding card.
Depending on the number of teams registered, the competition system may be round robin or direct elimination; As for the game, it will be carried out in a three-set format, each consisting of five innings; The team that manages to score two out of three sets will win and awards will be given to first and second place in each category of the two branches.
The prizes consist of: first place will receive a participation trophy, double passes to fair events and a recognition, and second place will receive only the recognition.
